This policy explains what personal data Sentinel collects, why, and the rights you have over it. Because we offer our service to users in the European Union, we apply the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to those users, even though our organisation is established outside the EU.
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
Solutions for Environmental Services Ltd.
Operating from Libya (also registered in the United States).
Data-protection contact: info@en-services.com

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the service:

Your account and field data are stored in the European Union (Google data centres in
europe-west1, Belgium). Some processing currently takes place on Google Cloud servers in the
United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate
safeguards, including Google Cloud's Standard Contractual Clauses and its certification under the EU–US Data
Privacy Framework. Our organisation is established outside the EEA (Libya / United States).
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, and erase your personal data. You can exercise the two principal rights directly inside the app, at any time:
For any other request, contact info@en-services.com. If you are in the EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.
As an organisation established outside the EU that offers services to people in the EU, we will appoint a representative in the European Union under Article 27 of the GDPR. Their contact details will be published here and made available to EU users and supervisory authorities.
Sentinel uses only functional browser storage — a sign-in token to keep you logged in, and a local cache of app files and map tiles so the app works offline in the field. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Sentinel is a professional tool intended for farmers and agronomists and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app.
